“Anything Goes” on stage at Elon, Oct. 30-Nov. 1 and Nov. 7-9

The Department of Performing Arts will present Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes” on stage Oct. 30-Nov. 1 and Nov. 7-9 in McCrary Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts on the Elon University campus. Show times are at 7:30 p.m., Thursday-Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

The play, directed by Catherine McNeela, explores the age-old tale of boy-meets-girl and the complications that ensue aboard a magical ship where literally anything goes. Linda Sabo serves as choreographer and Kenneth Lee is music director for the production, which features a number of Cole Porter songs, including “It’s De-Lovely,” “Friendship,” and “I Get A Kick Out Of You.”

Tickets for the performance are $12, or free with valid Elon identification. Tickets may be purchased by calling the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open from 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
