About 65 members of the Board of Visitors gathered for the group’s fall meeting, Oct. 17-18. President Leo M. Lambert gave the group an update on campus news and Susan Klopman, dean of admissions and financial planning, reviewed admissions statistics. The Board of Visitors also got an update on Elon’s first athletics competition in the Southern Conference by athletics director Alan White. The meeting wrapped up on Saturday with a pre-game tailgate picnic and a special gathering in the President’s Box at Rhodes Stadium for the Phoenix football game against the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga.
