The Elon University Jazz Ensemble will present its fall concert at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 15 in McKinnon Hall, located in the Moseley Center on campus. Free swing and salsa dance instruction will be offered at 6:30 p.m., prior to the concert. Both events are free and open to the public.
The concert will feature big band jazz arrangements from the 1930s-1950s, as well as jazz classics by Duke Ellington and Horace Silver. The concert will also feature songs from the swing and salsa charts and performances by 14 student soloists.
