Student art show to open with Nov. 3 reception

The opening reception of Elon University’s third-annual juried student art show will take place from 5 p.m.-7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 3 in the Isabella Cannon room, located in the Center for the Arts on campus. The reception, featuring refreshments and live music by the student group Twisted Measure, is free and open to the public.

The art show will feature the works of Elon student artists, and is being organized by students in a professional practices art course taught by Michael Fels, assistant professor of art. All forms of art, including Web sites and Flash animation projects, will be accepted for the show, which will run through Jan. 8.

A judging panel featuring Elon faculty members will award prizes at the opening reception for the top three entries.
