Elon’s National Alumni Executive Board held its fall meeting Nov. 6-7.
The board, which is the governing body of the university’s Alumni Association, is composed of 60 members who each serve three-year terms.
NAEB President Jack Duval ’93 welcomed board members to the meeting. Current students Bryan Scherich and Kendra Rau gave a presentation about their experience in the Elon Enterprise Academy, a unique program in which students organize and run real businesses with guidance from faculty members.
Committee meetings were held following the opening session. Alumni received updates about various facets of campus, including admissions, career networking and communications. Other committee meetings focused on development, alumni events and recruitment of future NAEB members.
Each committee reported key aspects of their meeting to the group in a closing business session on Friday morning.
