The Moseley Campus Center is sponsoring chartered buses to transport students to the Atlanta and Washington, D.C., areas for Thanksgiving break.
This shuttle was implemented three years ago after parents requested alternative means of transportation to these two heavily concentrated areas of our student population.
Please consider this as means of transportation to avoid fighting holiday traffic. Here is the basic information about each trip:
Washington, D.C.:
The bus will leave from Moseley Campus Center at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25. It will arrive at the Hampton Inn Springfield Mall in Springfield, Va., at approximately 10 p.m.
The bus returning to Elon will leave from the Springfield Mall at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30. Students will be dropped off at Moseley Center upon return to Elon. The bus will depart promptly at 3 p.m., so please plan to be there early.
Atlanta:
The bus will leave from Moseley Center at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25. It will arrive at the Holiday Inn Select Perimeter/ Dunwoody in Chamblee, Ga., at approximately 10 p.m.
The bus returning to Elon will leave from the Holiday Inn Select Perimeter/Dunwoody at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 30. Students will be dropped off at Moseley Center upon return to Elon. The bus will depart promptly at 3 p.m., so please plan to be there early.
Cost and Registration:
The shuttle fee is $90 roundtrip or one way. Payments are non-refundable. Students can pay with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or Phoenix Card at the Bursar’s Office. Receipts must then be taken to Moseley Center in order for registration to be completed. Space is limited, so please sign up now.
