Michael Bencs ’96, at left in photo, has been chosen as the play-by-play announcer for the Troy State vs. University of Louisiana-Monroe football game at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 22. The game will be offered as part of the ESPN Game Plan package, which offers subscribers access to additional college football telecasts beyond normal network coverage.
Bencs is vice president of communications and broadcaster for the Birmingham (Ala.) Steeldogs of the Arena Football League 2. He will work with color commentator Roger Schultz, a former center at the University of Alabama, on Saturday’s telecast.
