Top jazz band students will conclude a two-day festival on the Elon University campus with a concert at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 25 in McCrary Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts.
The concert will feature a combined performance by the Elon Jazz Ensemble and an all-festival ensemble of the top middle school and high school musicians at the festival. The ensemble will join this year’s guest clinicians, Ira Wiggins and Thomas Taylor, together with the Elon University Jazz Ensemble, in a rousing finale hosted and directed by Elon’s Artist-in-Residence, Jon Metzger.
The concert is free and open to the public.
