For more than 65 years, the Tamburitzans have presented shows around the world while providing scholarship aid to their student performers. In a two-part presentation, they capture and preserve the cultural heritage and spirit of Eastern Europe and its neighbors, performing music and dances in more than 500 costumes to demonstrate the diversity of the countries they represent.
The 35-member ensemble is led by Managing Director Paul Stafura and Director of Dance Dimitar Manov.
Tickets for the performance are $12 or free for those with valid Elon identification. Tickets may be purchased by calling the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open from 12:30-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
