The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Intervarsity Christian Fellowship will host An Evening of Christian Fellowship event, featuring keynote speaker Rev. Wayne Robinson, at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 13 in Whitley Auditorium, located on the Elon University campus.
Robinson is pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Greensboro, N.C., one of the largest churches in North Carolina with 4,000 members. Robinson played professional basketball for the Los Angeles Lakers and the Detroit Pistons before entering the ministry. A graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Robinson is president and CEO of Answer, Inc., an after-school and summer enrichment program for children founded in 2003.
The event is free and open to the public.
