Brad Hamm, associate dean of the School of Communications, presented a co-authored paper on communications theory and was a moderator March 17-19 in Istanbul for the 2nd International Symposium “Communication in the Millennium: A Dialogue Between Turkish and American Scholars.”
The conference was held at Istanbul University on the Bosphorus, the divide between Asia and Europe. The symposium was held to encourage a dialogue between the two countries’ communication scholars and make stronger already established dialogues.
Hamm was one of three Americans on the symposium’s Scientific Committee, along with scholars from the University of Texas and the University of North Carolina.
