Clyde Ellis, associate professor of history, has accepted an invitation from the Nebraska Indian Commission to speak in late August at its Centennial of the Lewis & Clark expedition. The symposium is in conjunction with the commission’s annual powwow.
Ellis’ talk will be based on research from his most recent book, “A Dancing People: Powwow Culture on the Southern Plains.”
