Jon Metzger, assistant professor of music, has been selected to judge the 2004 Percussive Arts Society’s International Composition Contest for Vibraphone Solo. The prestigious contest is held each year, Metzger will judge many of the finest composers of music for percussion in the world.

Metzger has also been involved with PAS recently at the state level when he was selected as a featured clinician for the 2004 North Carolina Day of Percussion held at Lenior-Rhyne College on March 27.
