All students who are taking an online course this summer are strongly encouraged to attend one of the short training sessions we’ll offer. These sessions cover information crucial to students in Web-based courses, including how to:
– obtain tech support during the summer;
– access library resources from off campus;
– participate in chat and discussion forums;
– take a quiz, and
– use the digital dropbox.
Even if you’re an expert Blackboard user, please attend to help ensure success in your online course. Sessions will be held in Belk Library, suite 115, at the following times:
12:30-1:15 p.m. Monday, April 26
3:00-3:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 27
12:30-1:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 28
3:00-3:45 p.m. Thursday, April 29
And the following week at:
3:00-3:45 p.m. Monday, May 3
1:00-1:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 4
3:00-3:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 5
1:00-1:45 p.m. Thursday, May 6
No advance registration is required. Please just attend the session that’s most convenient for you or the session your instructor has suggested.
