Dan Albergotti, assistant professor of English, has been awarded a scholarship to the 2004 Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference in Middlebury, Vt., Aug. 11-22.
Albergotti was awarded a tuition scholarship, the second-highest level of financial aid awarded for the event.
Bread Loaf is one of the oldest and most prestigious writers’ conferences. Conference participants are chosen based on the strength and promise of their submitted writing sample. Workshops are designed to benefit both published writers and those who are in the early stages of a writing career.
