Students, recent alums participating in Journey of Hope bike ride

Five members of the Elon community are cycling across America this summer to raise funds and awareness for people with disabilities.

Current students Darris Means and Ben Brundred, along with recent graduates Clay Britton, Michael Soult and Justin Herman are taking part in Journey of Hope. The cross-country bike trip began June 13 in San Francisco and concludes Aug. 15 in Charleston, S.C. All five men are Pi Kappa Phi fraternity brothers.

Journey of Hope benefits Push America, the major philanthropic effort supported by Pi Kappa Phi. During their journey, members of the Elon contingent will stop in cities and towns to raise awareness about people with disabilities.
