Four Elon student athletes were among the 48 students at the 12 Southern Conference member institutions who posted a perfect 4.0 grade point average for 2003-04 academic year. The top Elon student athletes are:
- Katherine Hart (volleyball)
- Pramote Malasitt (men’s tennis)
- Gillian Murray (women’s soccer)
- Patrick Stokes (football)
A total of 1,479 Southern Conference students were named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll for 2003-04. The honor roll consists of varsity athletes who posted a 3.0 or higher GPA while passing at least 24 hours in two semesters of classes or its equivalent for other academic calendars.
