Dr. David T. Suzuki, Chair of the David Suzuki Foundation, is an award-winning scientist, environmentalist and broadcaster. The author of more than 30 books, he is recognized as a world leader in sustainable ecology. Since 1990, his foundation has worked to find ways to protect the balance of society with the natural world that sustains it. The foundation uses science and education to promote solutions that help conserve nature by focusing on four areas: climate change and clean energy, oceans and sustainable fishing, forests and wild lands, and the web of life program, which encourages people to incorporate nature into all decisions.
