A musician of tremendous versatility, Ian Hobson has built an international career as a pianist, conductor and teacher since winning First Prize at the Leeds International Piano Competition in 1981. His repertoire spans centuries and demonstrates an extraordinary command of styles and great keyboard prowess, which has led to more than 35 recordings for various labels, including his own recently founded label, Zephyr. His performance will include Beethoven Opus 10, No. 2, as well as pieces by Chopin and Rachmaninoff.
