Judy Richardson, “Will the Circle Be Unbroken: Lessons of the Civil Rights Movement”

Whitley Auditorium

7:30 p.m.

Judy Richardson, a producer of Eyes on the Prize, shares her experiences and the values of the Civil Rights movement through her empowering stories of the individuals who led and participated on the front lines of the movement and who affected her as she worked on voter registration and desegregation campaigns. She connects these events with the movement’s concerns that continue to have relevance for all Americans today: economic equity, war and civil liberties.
