Writer Sharyn McCrumb will present her work on Appalachian mountain ballad novels, offering insights into how the legends of these mountains impact her works. This is especially apparent in her latest novel, Ghost Riders, which provides a candid study of emotions and loyalties that existed in Appalachia during the Civil War and Reconstruction.
