Elon's chapter of Sigma Kappa Sorority received the Three-Star Award of Excellence at their national convention for the third year in a row-an unusual and outstanding accomplishment.
Congratulations to the sisters of Sigma Kappa, faculty advisor Nancy Midgette and alumnae board advisors Jana Lynn Patterson, Janet Cooper and Joette Boone.
For a chapter to receive a three-star award, they must meet or exceed all national expectations in the areas of recruitment, philanthropy goals, financial stability, and participation in regional and national events such as Memory Walk, Founder’s Day, and Convention. The chapter must also be in good standing with its host institution. The Kappa Zeta chapter of Sigma Kappa has received this award for three successive years.
