Artist in Residence and Assistant Professor Jon Metzger has been invited to present jazz vibraphone masterclasses and recital performances at three Texas universities at the end of September. Metzger will make the presentations at Baylor University, Texas A&M University (Commerce), and the University of North Texas in Denton. At UNT, Metzger will perform with Lynn Seaton, former bassist with the Count Basie Orchestra, and Ed Soph, former drummer with the Woody Herman Orchestra. Metzger’s appearances are co-sponsored by Musser, a division of Ludwig Industries.
