Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to apply to be members of one of three debate teams in the ELectiON2004 Debate on Presidential Issues. The deadline for applications is Sept. 24. and the debate is Oct. 21. Details...
Individuals selected to debate will be assigned to a four-person team. Each team (Democratic, Republican, and Independent) will have a captain to open and close, with each member presenting on one issue– War in Iraq/ Terrorism, Same Sex Marriage, and the Economy, from one of the political party’s perspective.
The teams will debate the issues on October 21 at 7 p.m. in McKinnon Hall.

Complete the form and return it with a 500 word statement of your qualifications to Professor Betty Morgan no later than Sept. 24. Your statement should explain why you would be a valuable team member presenting a particular election issue from your chosen political perspective.

Individual team members will each receive a $100 cash credit to their Phoenix Card and students have the option of applying to complete the Experiential Learning Requirement though this experience.
