David Noer, professor of business administration, has several works which have recently been published or are scheduled for publication soon.
His article titled “Behaviorally Based Coaching: A Cross-Cultural Case Study,” will be published in IJCO, The International Journal for Coaching in Organizations in their February Research themed Edition. IJCO is a new journal with most of their articles solicited from professionals in the field and one “open” peer-reviewed edition per year.
His chapter, “Surviving the Transition form Line-Manager to Executive Coach,” will be published in The Practice of Leadership Coaching next Fall. This is an updated and expanded version of Coaching for Leadership, for which Noer published a chapter a few years ago. This has become an important book in the field.
Noer also appeared in a videotape as a subject matter expert. The video and his related article, “Managing the Human Impact of Downsizing,” were published and distributed by the Federal Judicial Center this summer. Their audience is about 18,000 employees of the Federal Court System as well as other, interested federal agencies.
