Professors Janice Richardson and Lisa Beuerle recently had a joint paper accepted for publication in the journal of the North American Chapter of the Psychology of Mathematics Education. The title of the paper is “Math and Education Faculty Working Together to Improve Content Knowledge for Pre-Service Elementary Teachers”.
The research they conducted focused on a quantitative longitudinal study to measure content knowledge gained in a math content course required for all elementary and middle grade education majors at Elon University.
Richardson will travel to Toronto in October to present their results at the PME-NA conference.
