Crider publishes astronomy education paper

A paper on pedagogical research conducted by Dr. Anthony Crider, assistant professor of physics, has recently been accepted for publication in the journal, Astronomy Education Review. 

The article is entitled “Hot Seat Questioning: A Technique to Promote and Evaluate Student Dialogue.” In it, Dr. Crider describes this technique and details the effects it has had on student learning in introductory astronomy classes.

The Astronomy Education Review is a peer-reviewed publication supported with the generous assistance of the National Optical Astronomy Observatory and NASA and endorsed by the Astronomical Society of the Pacific and the American Astronomical Society.
