The Martha & Spencer Love School of Business Board of Advisors has made a gift to the university to name the atrium in the new Koury Business Center in honor of John Burbridge, dean of the school. Details...
The board took the action at its fall meeting on Oct. 8. Members of the board have made total gift commitments to the Ernest A. Koury Sr. Business Center project of about $350,000. They voted unanimously to make their gifts in honor of Burbridge for his exemplary service to the university.
Burbridge has been dean of the Love School since 1996 and led the successful drive to achieve AACSB International accreditation last spring.
The first-floor atrium will be an inviting study area surrounded by faculty offices in the new business center. Fund raising is currently being completed for the center and groundbreaking is expected to be in spring 2005.
