Russian journalists to visit polling center

Fifteen Russian journalists will visit the new polling center for the Elon University Poll in the Gray Political Science Pavilion at 10:15 a.m., Friday, Oct. 8. The group, which includes print, radio and television journalists, will hear a short presentation on public opinion polling by Tim Vercellotti, assistant professor of political science and director of the Elon University Poll.

The journalists are spending a week visiting Duke University’s DeWitt Wallace Center for Communications and Journalism. They represent a variety of Russian media outlets, including Mariy El Pravda newspaper, Public Television of Russia and Novaya Gazeta newspaper’s Ryazan bureau.
