Gene Medler, adjunct instructor of dance, will receive the North Carolina Dance Alliance’s Annual Award during a tribute performance Oct. 23 at the PSI Theatre in Durham.
The award recognizes Medler as one of the state’s most exceptional and highly visible dance personalities, for his resounding achievements as a dance artist and his ongoing commitment to dance in North Carolina.
