Services available for students on Elon Campus:
• CrossRoads student-run satellite office is open for services for Elon students Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30pm-8:30pm in Moseley 208
• Our Victim advocate spends Tuesdays and Thursdays on Elon campus from 2:00pm-5:00pm in the Student Health Center with walk-in appointments available.
Free and confidential services offered by CrossRoads:
• 24-HOUR CRISIS LINE (336) 228-0360 – free, confidential support and information over the phone. Trained volunteers staff the crisis line and are available to assist victims of sexual assault and their families and friends.
• Companion services – Volunteers are available to accompany the victim to the hospital, law enforcement agencies, and the District Attorney’s office.
• Advocacy – Trained victim advocates are available to help victims and their friends and families through the legal system by providing liaison services between the client and the District Attorney’s office, court preparation, accompaniment to appointments and court, and education about the judicial system. The Victim Advocates also act as support persons and are available to provide crisis counseling.
