Carol Magee has been invited by the UNC-Chapel Hill Art Department to speak on her research. Magee’s lecture, “Forever in Kente: Ghanian Barbie and the Fashioning of Identities” is part of a panel of two talks, entitled “Imagining Africa and the Diaspora.”
Also speaking will be Lyneise Williams, whose lecture will be on “Reconstructing Identity: The Art of Pedro Figari (1861-1938).”
