Elon’s RSA won several awards at the Run for the Roses SAACURH conference, held Nov. 19-21 at the University of Louisville.
Elon’s delegation was selected as one of three schools at the conference for the Rose Garland Spirit Award. In addition, several Elon students gave presentations, including Tom Kernan’s program titled “Run for Leadership: Racing to Opportunities and Acheivements.” Katie Radcliffe and Dwayne Waite presented “Survival Bingo” and earned a Top 33 Program Award, Elon’s first such award.
The Elon delegation is also working with a group from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to bring a leadership retreat for all NCARH schools to Elon in April. The group also raised more than $175 to give to Kosair’s Bears, a philanthropy related to the national conference.
