David Crowe, professor of history and author of a new book on Oskar Schindler, will be featured on CNN Saturday, hosted by Fredricka Whitfield. The program will air Saturday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. Eastern time.
Crowe’s book is titled “Oskar Schindler: The Untold Account of His Life, Wartime Activities and the True Story Behind the List.” It was published in October by Westview Press.
A noted Holocaust historian, Crowe reveals in his book that Schindler had virtually nothing to do with the creation of the famed Schindler’s List. Crowe’s research also discloses that Schindler was a key spy for German counterintelligence in the late 1930s, activities which Schindler consistently downplayed after the war.
