Hal Walker, associate professor of leisure/sport management, and several students gave a presentation at the North Carolina Recreation and Park Society Conference Nov. 16 in Hickory, N.C.
Their presentation was titled “Event Planning ~ Theory and Practice.” The group discussed theoretical and practical aspects of special event planning. Four Elon students discussed practical applications of their experiences in the LSM 227 Event Planning class and internships.
