Bird Stasz, associate professor of education, recently returned from two weeks in Uzbekistan where she is working with USAID and a consortium of funders to redesign an existing program in teacher education. The goal of the redesign is to better ensure sustainability and collaboration among funders and the ministry of education as they move forward toward program implementation country wide.
