At College Coffee on Tuesday, Founders Day was observed with the planting of a white oak tree at the Academic Village and recognition of the late Dr. Ned Brannock, an 1899 Elon graduate an chair of the chemistry department for many years. Members of Brannock’s family, including his daughters, Edith and Blanche, were on hand for the occasion.
