Elon has created an Office of Parent Programs to better serve one of the university’s most valued constituencies. Previously, parent programs were handled by the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations. Creating a separate office will allow Elon to enhance programs for all parents and expand and support the activities of the Parents Council, which serves as a liaison between parents and university administrators.
Elon has started a search for a full-time Director of Parent Programs, who will be responsible for coordinating activities of the Parents Fund, organizing and directing all functions of the Parents Council, and, along with the Office of Student Life, helping to plan Family Weekend and other parent events throughout the year.
