Heidi Frontani, associate professor of geography, has had two entries published in Oxford University Press’s The New Encyclopedia Africana, 2nd Edition. The entries are “Coastal Resources, Africa” and “Conservation in Africa”. Kwame Anthony Appiah and Henry Lewis Gates, Jr. edited the 3968-page volume, which has been referred to as “the most authoritative research and scholarly reference set on the African experience ever created.” (Amazon.com)
