The department of performing arts will perform “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” Thursday, April 21-Sunday, April 24 at McCrary Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts on the Elon University campus. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m., Thursday-Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Comic mastermind Steve Martin’s script poses the question: What if Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso met in a bar in Paris just before either became famous? The result is a witty, irreverent, and thought-provoking play. The performance contains some mature language and subject matter. Viewer discretion is advised.
Tickets are $12, or free with Elon identification. Tickets may be purchased at the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open from 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
