Kevin Boyle, professor of English, will offer a free poetry reading at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 27 in the Isabella Cannon Room, located in the Center for the Arts on the Elon University campus. The public is invited to attend the reading, which will be followed by a book signing.
Boyle will read from his new book of poetry, “A Home for Wayward Girls,” which won the New Issues First Book Award. Boyle’s chapbook, “The Lullaby of History,” won the Mary Belle Campbell Poetry Book Prize and was published in 2002. His poems have appeared in North American Review, Virginia Quarterly and Antioch Review.
