Ellis to participate in grant, serve as editor for American Indian history series

Clyde Ellis, associate professor of history, will be part of a National Endowment for the Humanities Consultation Grant this summer. The grant was awarded recently to the Greensboro Historical Museum for a new museum initiative on Southern history.

Ellis has accepted an invitation from the University of Nebraska Press to serve as series editor for a 50-volume history of American Indians in the United States. The series will have one volume for each state and is aimed at general and academic audiences.
