Hillel, Elon’s Jewish life organization, will sponsor Holocaust Remembrance Day activities May 4-5. This year’s featured speaker, Shelly Weiner, will discuss her experience during a presentation at 7:15 p.m., Wednesday, May 4 in McKinnon Hall, located in the Moseley Center on campus.
From 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, names of Holocaust victims will be read aloud at the front entrance of Moseley Center. Posters, photos and other educational material about the Holocaust will be displayed in the Moseley Center’s commuter lounge throughout the day.
