Vivian Dula, adjunct instructor of music, has been named a Foundation Fellow by the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). She received the award, which honors distinguished service to the music teaching profession, April 4 at the MTNA conference in Seattle.
Fellows are recognized at the Gala during the national conference and are featured in MTNA publications. They receive a plaque and their names also appear on a plaque at MTNA national headquarters in Cincinnati.
Dula is only the third North Carolinian to receive the MTNA Foundation Fellow award.
