Frances Ward-Johnson, an associate professor in the School of Communications, has been selected for the 9th annual edition of “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.”
Who’s Who annually recognizes the nation’s best teachers at the high school and college level. Selection for the honor is based on nominations from former students who have been cited for academic excellence. Students are invited to nominate one teacher from their entire academic experience who made a difference in his or her life.
Ward-Johnson was nominated by a former public relations student, Charlene Day.
“Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers” is the only publication dedicated exclusively to the recognition of the country’s top teachers.
