Greensboro Symphony concert features pianist Davidovich, May 8

The Greensboro Symphony will showcase the talents of internationally recognized pianist Bella Davidovich during a performance at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 8 in McCrary Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts on the Elon University campus.

Davidovich will perform Chopin’s “Piano Concert No. 2. She has performed with the New York Philharmonic, The Boston Symphony, The Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. Her solo concerts have dazzled audiences in countries around the world, including Belgium, Germany, England, Italy and Japan. She has taught at The Julliard School since 1985.

The concert will also feature the symphony’s performance of Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” Overture and Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, “Titan.”

Tickets for the performance are $25 for orchestra seating and $15 for balcony seating. Tickets may be purchased by calling the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open from 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
