Students enrolled in Introduction to Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Eng 275) recently donated 12 large boxes of supplies to local ESL programs, thanks to the generosity of the university community.
Betty Kee, a teacher at the ABSS Newcomer’s Center, wrote in thanks: “I wanted to express my appreciation for the effort that your students went to in collecting items for students in second language programs here in Alamance Burlington Schools. My Newcomer’s Class was one of the happy recipients and we send a hearty thank you for the generosity and work of Elon students on our behalf.”
