Connie Book, associate professor in the School of Communications, delivered the keynote address June 20 to the Association of Higher Education Cable Television Administrators’ (AHECTA) annual meeting in St. Louis. She shared her research on the topic of digital television and the nation’s transition to digital and high definition TV.
Book has been awarded several grants to study the topic of digital television and is the author of a book titled “Digital Television: DTV and the Consumer.”
AHECTA promotes and develops the use of cable television as an instructional, informational and entertainment tool in higher education.
