J.R. Shortall, Web developer in information systems and technology, placed second in the heavyweight division in the 14th annual Alamance County Bodybuilding Competition which was held June 25. To prepare for the competition, Shortall dieted for 15 weeks and trained twice a day. At the same time, he was taking MBA classes and preparing for his marriage on April 9.
