Both monetary donations (needed for shipping costs) and specific items are being collected by the Alamance County Cooperative Extension at 209 Graham-Hopedale Road, Burlington through September 30. The collections will assist with daycare centers in the Mississippi region. A list of specific items (including books, infant toys, washable blocks etc.) for infant to four year old classrooms are available by visiting the Kernodle Center for Service Learning Relief Effort board in Moseley 230 or by contacting evelyn_deloatch@ncsu.edu or calling her at 570-6740.
